Toronto – MPO “Victory”

Spring dance held in Spring dance held in MPO “Victory” home

Toronto -- MPO “Victory” held its first Spring Dance May 3 in the beautifully renovated hall of Holy Trinity Macedono-Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church. Guests enjoyed good company, good music and good dancing along with snacks, desserts, coffee and a cash bar. The Paul Pappas Trio provided music.

One of our chief objectives was to reunite MPO families. It was wonderful to see so many friends having so much fun together. Dr. Julian Tsafaroff and his wife Jeannie attended with their daughter Eden and two grandchildren Gabriella and Ripley. Teddy Petroff came with his wife Kathryn and brought his father Paul. It was good to see Chris Alexopoulos with his son. George and Gloria Chicules also attended with their daughter Lisa.

Springfield MPO dance entices families, all ages

Springfield – MPO “Solun” members again worked as a team and created a warm atmosphere for a diverse group of folks who love to dance at their annual vecherinka on May 10. As usual it was held in the Knights of Columbus Hall. Homemade goodies abounded with zelnicks stealing the show. There also was pickled cabbage, ravanea (baked dessert with syrup), kebabs (sausage) As is traditional in Springfield, the door prizes added a touch of excitement to the evening.
